Services

higher education search

I am available to serve as a search consultant for a wide range of positions at colleges and universities. This work is done through Academic Search; please visit the Academic Search web site for more information or contact me directly at bethany.sutton@academicsearch.org.

nonprofit management & leadership transitions

For organizations or colleges & universities, I provide consulting around management and leadership, organizational change, and leadership transitions. I offer workshops to help individuals, organizations, departments, and units navigate leadership transitions.

strategic and program planning

I bring many years of experience to my work with organizations and people seeking to design and implement strategic plans or new programs or initiatives. I can be of assistance if you are seeking an outside perspective; feedback on a strategic plan; someone to organize or facilitate a planning process; or ideas about structure, process, fundraising, staffing, etc. We can work together to design a consulting relationship that benefits your organization, program, or institution.

career and leadership coaching

I am a graduate of the Georgetown University Center for Transformational Leadership program in leadership coaching. Since 2015, I have served as a Faculty Fellow for the HERS Institutes, providing leadership development for women in higher educations. I provide coaching for those in the non-profit and higher education sectors who are exploring their career options, designing career pathways, or seeking new positions; or individuals who are seeking to grow in their leadership, pursue excellence in their work, or tackle a particular challenge. Contact me to see if we might work together in support of your leadership, career planning and advancement. We can meet up for coffee or a video chat and explore whether we want to establish a coaching relationship.
