Empowered women empower women…

RISE AND SHINE

Every day, I select an empowerment card from a deck on my desk; one of my favorites says “If you’re going to rise, you might as well shine.”

In my work with those who identify as women in higher education, non-profit organizations, and K-12, I find that empowering individuals to support one another lifts us all. With these thoughts, I have developed Rise and Shine, a group coaching circle launching in 2026 to offer a supportive environment that is professional, confidential, and provides an opportunity to share experiences, perspectives, and resources with others.

Participating in a group coaching circle might be right for you if you are seeking clarity in the direction of your professional life; at a crossroads personally, professionally, or both—and not sure which road to take; AND/OR eager to manage your time, energy, and talent while also moving forward in your career

LEADERSHIP and Career COACHING

I provide coaching for individuals in non-profit organizations and higher education who are seeking to grow in their leadership, pursue excellence in their work, or tackle particular challenges. I also work with those who are exploring career options, designing career pathways, or seeking new positions. I am a graduate of the Georgetown University Center for Transformational Leadership program in leadership coaching (2018) and, since 2015, have served as a Faculty Fellow for the HERS Leadership Institute, providing leadership development for women in higher education. I have worked with a number of small professional and affinity groups to provide mutually supportive and collaborative relationships, whether within an organization or with individuals across institutions or organizations. I have developed a number of resources and workshops designed to build self-awareness, new perspectives, and action strategies.

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

I bring many years of experience—and a wide range of talents—to my work with organizations seeking to develop new programs or initiatives and become more effective; I also work with groups of individuals to facilitate professional growth and offer workshops to help individuals, organizations, departments, and units navigate leadership transitions and organizational change. We can work together to design a consulting relationship that benefits your organization, program, or institution.
